Marianna Falcón is a healthcare consultant and psychotherapist dedicated to advancing person-centered care, healthcare humanization, and meaningful connections between patients, families, and care teams. She has extensive experience supporting healthcare organizations across Latin America in strengthening person-centered cultures through consultation, education, coaching, and organizational transformation.
Since 2021, Marianna has partnered with healthcare leaders and multidisciplinary teams in Mexico, Panama, Guatemala, and Colombia, providing organizational assessments, progress evaluations, and practical guidance to help organizations embed person-centered principles into everyday care and advance their journeys toward Planetree Certification.
Alongside her consulting work, Marianna has maintained a private practice since 2013, specializing in meaning-centered psychotherapy and grief counseling. Her work is grounded in the belief that healing extends beyond clinical care and that empathy, purpose, and human connection are essential to supporting individuals and families through life's most challenging moments.
A frequent speaker and educator, Marianna has presented at national and international conferences on topics including person-centered care, quality and patient safety, healthcare humanization, and meaning-centered care. She is committed to helping healthcare professionals rediscover purpose and joy in their work while fostering more compassionate and resilient healthcare organizations.
Marianna holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Pan American University in Mexico City, a specialty in Meaning-Centered Psychotherapy from the Mexican Society for Existential Analysis and Logotherapy, and certification in Grief Counseling from the Mexican Institute of Thanatology. She is also an accredited member of the Viktor Frankl Institute in Vienna and a Certified Grief Educator.
