Ravi Tripptrap is the Vice President of Corporate Services at Planetree International, where he leads finance, marketing, operations, technology, organizational systems, strategic initiatives, and board management in support of advancing person-centered care worldwide.
With more than 20 years of international leadership experience in nonprofit management, strategy, and operations, Ravi has dedicated his career to building resilient organizations and strengthening systems that drive impact. Before joining Planetree, he served as Executive Director of an international health organization, which he established from the ground up—leading humanitarian aid and development programs across 12 countries in the Americas.
Earlier, Ravi directed large-scale humanitarian response operations and established regional offices with Malteser International in Asia and the U.S., where he designed and implemented operations, finance, and quality-control systems. Over the course of his career, he has secured multimillion-dollar funding from the U.S. Government, United Nations, European Union, Germany, foundations, and corporate partners. He has also strengthened governance, risk, and compliance systems, while representing the Sovereign Order of Malta as a diplomat to the United Nations, engaging in high-level negotiations to advance global initiatives.
Ravi holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Cologne. He lives in Greenwich, Connecticut with his wife, their son and daughter, and two rescued dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling off the beaten path with his family, hiking, snowboarding, and riding motorcycles.
