Amanda brings more than two decades of executive healthcare leadership experience across the United States and the Gulf region, partnering with organizations to advance person-centered care through strategic transformation, operational excellence, and culture change. She believes that exceptional patient experience is not simply a metric to be measured, but a culture to be intentionally cultivated and sustained across every level of an organization.

As a member of the Planetree Global Faculty, Amanda works with healthcare leaders to align organizational strategy, leadership, and daily practice in ways that create more compassionate, responsive, and person-centered systems of care. She currently serves as Interim CEO of the IHG Mental Health ecosystem and as faculty in the Master of Healthcare Administration program at the University of Maryland, where she prepares the next generation of healthcare leaders to drive meaningful organizational change.

Amanda has extensive experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that strengthen patient experience while improving operational performance. Prior to joining Planetree, she held senior leadership positions at Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare, where she led the implementation of a comprehensive Patient Experience Framework that embedded person-centered principles throughout the organization. Earlier in her career, she guided operational, quality, and strategic initiatives across healthcare organizations in both the United States and the Gulf, with expertise spanning healthcare operations, mergers and acquisitions, digital transformation, and multi-country regulatory environments.

Amanda holds a Doctorate in Management from the University of Maryland and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP), and a graduate of the Planetree Certified Patient-Centered Care (CPCC) program. She is passionate about helping healthcare organizations build cultures where patients, families, and care teams feel heard, valued, and empowered, and is committed to advancing person-centered care throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council region and beyond.
