Sara Abdullah Alrumikhani is a patient experience leader and advocate for person-centered care dedicated to advancing humanized healthcare, cultural transformation, and meaningful experiences for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. With more than 18 years of healthcare experience, including nearly a decade focused on patient and staff experience, Sara brings expertise in strategy, quality improvement, leadership development, and organizational transformation.
Sara holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from the University of Scranton, where she also demonstrated leadership and community engagement as President of the Saudi Club. In 2026, she earned the designation of Fellow in Person-Centered Care, further strengthening her expertise in advancing compassionate, partnership-based approaches to healthcare delivery.
Throughout her career, Sara has supported healthcare organizations in achieving strategic goals while strengthening cultures of empathy, engagement, and continuous improvement. Her leadership experience includes roles in health promotion at the National Guard Health Affairs (NGHA) and patient experience leadership positions within leading private hospitals in Jeddah. She has played a key role in advancing Planetree accreditation initiatives and embedding person-centered care principles into organizational practices.
A Certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional, Sara combines improvement methodologies with a deep understanding of the human experience of healthcare. She is a respected speaker at conferences across Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and the United States, sharing insights on patient experience, quality improvement, and person-centered care. She has also contributed to healthcare education as an instructor in the Patient Experience Postgraduate Program, supporting the development of future healthcare leaders certified through the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
