Sultan Jarboue Salaheldin is a healthcare professional whose work brings together clinical knowledge, organizational leadership, and a deep commitment to person-centered care. With experience spanning medicine, education, and international collaboration, Sultan is passionate about helping health systems create more compassionate, engaging, and sustainable care environments.
Sultan earned his Doctor of Medicine from Near East University, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical sciences and an appreciation for the human experience at the heart of healthcare. He later pursued advanced studies in healthcare leadership, earning a Master of Business Administration with magna cum laude distinction from EU Business School. His academic work focused on innovation, engagement, and behavioral change, interests that continue to shape his approach to improving healthcare experiences for patients, families, and staff.
Prior to joining Planetree, Sultan held leadership roles within medical education and professional organizations. As President of the Medical Students Association of Northern Cyprus, he led significant organizational growth by strengthening governance, expanding international partnerships, and securing full membership in the International Federation of Medical Students Associations. Through this work, he supported more than 2,000 medical students and helped build sustainable systems for leadership development, collaboration, and engagement.
Sultan currently serves as a Regional Coordinator at Planetree, supporting organizations across the EMEA region in their pursuit of person-centered excellence. In this role, he contributes to client engagement, project coordination, and the implementation of Planetree’s evidence-based frameworks to elevate the experiences of patients, families, and healthcare teams. Guided by the belief that meaningful change begins with human connection, Sultan is dedicated to helping organizations foster cultures where people feel heard, respected, and empowered, advancing Planetree’s mission to transform healthcare through compassion, partnership, and continuous improvement
