Zeina Dakroub is a healthcare quality and transformation leader with more than 15 years of experience advancing quality improvement, accreditation, patient safety, risk management, and person-centered care across primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare systems. She is recognized for her ability to build sustainable quality frameworks, guide organizations through complex transformations, and strengthen healthcare systems through collaboration and continuous improvement.
Zeina has played a key role in the commissioning and licensing of greenfield healthcare facilities, successfully leading operational readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality systems development for three major hospitals in Qatar. Through leadership roles with Apex Health, Qatar, she has supported the advancement of quality and patient safety programs at the Korean Medical Center and The View Hospital in collaboration with Cedars-Sinai International.
Her experience extends beyond traditional quality and safety roles, including the establishment of infection prevention and control programs, occupational health initiatives, and patient experience strategies at Alfardan Medical with Northwestern Medicine. She has also contributed to system-wide improvement efforts with Qatar’s Primary Health Care Corporation, supporting organizational readiness for Canadian Accreditation and advancing healthcare excellence across the continuum of care.
Zeina is passionate about creating healthcare environments where safety, quality, and the human experience are integrated into everyday practice. She holds an ISQua Fellowship focused on artificial intelligence and sustainability in healthcare, is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), and is a certified quality improvement trainer through FICS.
She earned both her Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology from the American University of Beirut, where she also served as a laboratory instructor. Her academic contributions include published research in internationally recognized scientific journals, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based practice and lifelong learning.
