Jill is a Planetree International Certified Fellow in Person-Centered Care from Toronto, Canada. She has been an active member of the Planetree Global Patient and Family Partnership Council (Global PFPC) since 2021. In this capacity, Jill engages in PFPC subcommittee work and projects, presents at international conferences and Planetree Forums, and partners in meaningful Planetree co-design initiatives, committees, courses, strategic planning, and recruitment.

Jill has been involved in healthcare, both personally and professionally, for more than 25 years. She is dedicated to humanizing healthcare to benefit patients, families, and providers. Her firsthand lived experience as both a patient and family caregiver complements her extensive Person-Centered Care (PCC) training and unwavering passion for transforming the healthcare experience through authentic engagement, collaborative partnerships, and co-design.

As Founder of Care 2 Collaborate, Jill has developed in-depth knowledge and insight through years of working with patients, families, healthcare organizations, providers, academic institutions, policymakers, government organizations, and governing bodies to advance Person-Centered Care globally and elevate the human experience in healthcare. She has also served as both a member and chair of numerous Patient and Family Advisory Councils (PFACs) and Patient and Family Partnership Councils (PFPCs).

Jill holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and a graduate business degree, with distinction, from the London School of Economics in the United Kingdom.
