Stephanie Hackett is a global public health leader, clinician, and advocate for person-centered care dedicated to ensuring that children, adolescents, and families receive dignified, high-quality healthcare regardless of geography or circumstance. With more than 15 years of experience spanning clinical practice, global health programs, and healthcare transformation, Stephanie brings a unique ability to connect frontline care with sustainable system-level improvement.

As a Physician Assistant and public health professional, Stephanie has worked across more than 15 countries in Central America, South America, and Africa and has advised healthcare programs in more than 55 countries. Her work has included organizational assessments, workforce development, training initiatives, and partnerships with governments and communities to translate person-centered principles into meaningful and sustainable practice.

Stephanie’s career includes direct patient care, large-scale global health implementation, and senior policy leadership, including serving as Senior Advisor for Pediatric Care and Treatment to the U.S. Global AIDS Ambassador at the U.S. Department of State. Across each role, she is recognized for building trusted relationships, listening deeply to communities, and creating solutions grounded in local expertise and ownership.

She is passionate about advancing healthcare systems that prioritize compassionate communication, staff wellbeing, and the lived experiences of the people they serve. Stephanie believes that these elements are not separate from quality care—they are essential foundations for safe, effective, and sustainable healthcare.

Fluent in English and Spanish with professional proficiency in Portuguese, Stephanie brings cultural humility and a global perspective to her consulting practice. She currently maintains an active clinical practice caring for youth in Atlanta, Georgia, ensuring her strategic work remains connected to the realities of patients, families, and frontline healthcare teams.
