Deborah Fedeli is a consultant with Planetree International’s Global Consulting Network, bringing more than 23 years of healthcare experience and a lifelong commitment to advancing person-centered care. She believes that healthcare is most healing when people feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued, and she is passionate about helping organizations create cultures where the voices of patients, families, and staff shape every aspect of the care experience.
Prior to joining Planetree’s Global Consulting Network, Deborah served for many years as Planetree Coordinator at Stamford Health, where she led numerous initiatives to strengthen person-centered care throughout the organization. Her leadership included establishing the health system’s first Patient & Family Advisory Council, creating a Concierge program to support employees, partnering with community organizations to develop a Kosher Comfort Room, and guiding Stamford Health to achieve four consecutive Gold-Level Planetree Certifications for Excellence in Person-Centered Care. Throughout her work, Deborah has championed the belief that when healthcare professionals feel supported, respected, and valued, they are better able to provide exceptional care for others.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies and Theology from Sacred Heart University. In recognition of her enduring impact on the advancement of person-centered care, she was honored with Planetree International’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 2025.
As a member of the Planetree Global Consulting Network, Deborah partners with healthcare organizations to strengthen cultures of compassion, partnership, and human connection.
