Dr. Hisam Alahdab, MD, FCCP, MS-HQS is a healthcare executive, physician leader, and global expert in clinical quality, patient safety, and person-centered care. With extensive experience leading healthcare transformation across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East, Dr. Alahdab brings a unique combination of clinical expertise, operational leadership, and a deep commitment to creating healthcare systems that deliver safe, compassionate, and exceptional experiences for patients and families.
Dr. Alahdab currently serves as Chief Clinical Integration Officer at Cedars-Sinai International in Doha, Qatar, where he supports the development of a high-performing healthcare organization through the integration of clinical excellence, quality improvement, patient safety, and operational best practices. Working closely with executive leadership and clinical teams, he helps align organizational practices with internationally recognized standards while adapting global expertise to local needs and cultures.
Throughout his career, Dr. Alahdab has held senior leadership roles including Chief Quality Officer, Chief Operations Officer, Associate Chief Medical Officer, and Hospital Director. At Anadolu Medical Center, a Johns Hopkins Medicine affiliate in Turkey, he led enterprise-wide quality and safety initiatives, supported international accreditation achievements, advanced comprehensive cancer care services, and guided the organization in achieving Planetree Gold Certification for Person-Centered Care—the first organization in Turkey to receive this recognition.
Dr. Alahdab has extensive expertise in accreditation, healthcare governance, clinical performance improvement, medical staff leadership, and organizational transformation. He has contributed to major healthcare initiatives including the development of comprehensive cancer centers, implementation of patient safety systems, physician performance management frameworks, and international accreditation readiness programs. He has also served as an auditor and committee member with the Organization of European Cancer Institutes (OECI), supporting the advancement of global standards in cancer care.
Dr. Alahdab holds a medical degree and specialty training in Pulmonology from Marmara University in Turkey and a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Healthcare Management and is certified in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
