Lisa Keitel has beenan active member of the Global PFPC since 2020, participating on subcommitteesworking on annual initiatives, recruitment, content review etc. She haspresented the Council’s work at annual international Planetree Forums - inBaltimore, Boston, and New Orleans. Lisa has also been a member of theMinnesota Alliance for Patient Safety Statewide Community Advisory Councilsince 2020.
Lisa has been apatient advisor for over 25 years. She began her patient advisorywork after the birth of her son in 1997 with the Advisory Council at The BirthCenter at United Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota, serving from 1998 to 2010.Lisa represented The Birth Center at two national conferences of The Institutefor Patient-and-Family Centered Care. As a breast cancer patient, she hasserved with the Allina Patient and Family Partnership Program (PFPP) from 2014- present and was co-presenter with Allina PFPP staff at the Beryl Instituteconference in Dallas in 2016.
As the parent of aneurodiverse adult, Lisa is invested in working to improve patient safety andadvance Person-Centered Care for her son, all patients and families, andproviders.
